Ekkow Content Guidelines

Last updated: February 26, 2026. Welcome to Ekkow, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

TEkkow works with publishers, creators, platforms, and enterprise partners to distribute trusted, rights-cleared content across premium environments. These guidelines are designed to protect that ecosystem by ensuring that content distributed through Ekkow remains reliable, properly attributed, compliant, and aligned with the standards expected by our partners.

1. Core standard

Ekkow is intended for legitimate, trustworthy editorial content. Publisher must ensure that Content is accurate, responsibly presented, and consistent with generally accepted journalistic and editorial standards in the country or countries in which the Publisher operates or the Content is directed.

Publisher is responsible for the Content it submits, including its legality, originality, accuracy, sourcing, and compliance with these Guidelines. Ekkow may reject, restrict, remove, or suspend Content that does not meet these standards or the requirements of its distribution partners.

2. Editorial integrity

Publisher must use reasonable editorial processes to verify facts, check sources where appropriate, and correct material errors in a timely and transparent manner. Opinion, sponsored content, and advertising must be clearly distinguishable from factual reporting.

Publisher must disclose any material conflict of interest, sponsorship, or other commercial influence that could reasonably affect a reader’s understanding of the Content. Content presented as independent editorial material must not be influenced in a misleading or undisclosed way.

3. Originality and rights

Publisher must have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed to distribute its Content through the Service. Content must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.

Publisher may not submit scraped, copied, spun, paraphrased, lightly rewritten, or AI-rewritten versions of third-party reporting unless the Publisher has the necessary rights and adds meaningful original editorial value. Plagiarism, deceptive aggregation, misattribution, unauthorized use of third-party content, and misleading sourcing are not allowed.

4. AI and manipulated content

If Content is materially created, altered, summarized, translated, or enhanced using AI or other automated tools, Publisher must ensure meaningful human editorial review before publication. Publisher remains fully responsible for the Content, including its accuracy, fairness, and compliance.

Publisher must clearly disclose synthetic or AI-generated media where a reader, platform, or distribution partner could otherwise be misled.. Deepfakes, fabricated evidence, manipulated documents, or altered audio, images, or video presented as authentic are prohibited.

5. Prohibited content

Publisher may not distribute Content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, hateful, threatening, or that promotes violence, terrorism, or serious criminal conduct. Content that exploits minors, encourages self-harm, or contains pornographic material is also prohibited.

Publisher may not distribute materially false or misleading Content, including election misinformation, health misinformation, fabricated claims, or deceptive omissions likely to cause harm. Misleading headlines, thumbnails, summaries, captions, timestamps, metadata, or other presentation elements are not allowed. This includes clickbait or sensationalized packaging that materially misrepresents the underlying Content.

6. Links and embedded advertising

Links in Content must serve a genuine editorial purpose and must not be misleading, excessive, or designed mainly to manipulate traffic, search rankings, or user behavior. Broken links, deceptive buttons, and unnecessary redirect chains and links to unsafe, low-quality, or irrelevant destinations are not allowed.

Some Distribution Channels restrict links to third-party sites, non-editorial links, and advertising, promotional, sponsored, or third-party branded material embedded in Content (“Embedded Advertising Content”). Publisher must not include Embedded Advertising Content unless Ekkow has given prior written consent, and any approved Embedded Advertising Content must comply with applicable law, disclosure rules, and Ekkow’s reasonable requirements.

7. Feed and technical quality

Publisher must maintain reasonable technical and feed-quality standards, including accurate metadata, canonical URLs where applicable, working links, non-duplicative entries, and suitable image and preview quality. Publisher must also avoid duplicate resubmissions, timestamp gaming, and other tactics designed to create artificial freshness or visibility.

Ekkow may reject, limit, or remove Content that creates technical, attribution, quality, or user-experience problems. Publisher is expected to address material feed or formatting issues promptly.

8. Enforcement

Ekkow may review, restrict, remove, or suspend Content or access to the Service where it reasonably believes these Guidelines, applicable law, or partner requirements have been violated. Ekkow may take immediate action in serious cases, including where there is risk of harm, legal exposure, repeated violations, or deceptive conduct.

Where appropriate, Ekkow may give Publisher an opportunity to correct or remediate an issue, but is not required to do so in every case. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of distribution access.

9. Reporting and updates

Publishers should promptly cooperate with reasonable requests from Ekkow concerning compliance, review, correction, or removal of Content. Ekkow may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect legal, editorial, technical, or distribution-partner requirements.

10. Platform and partner requirements

Content distributed through Ekkow may be subject to additional requirements from distribution partners, platforms, enterprise customers, or other channels.
Publisher agrees to cooperate with reasonable requests related to partner compliance, content review, correction, takedown, formatting, rights verification, attribution, or technical delivery.
Ekkow may restrict distribution of specific Content, categories, formats, links, or publishers where required by partner policies, applicable law, or quality standards.
